(Frok Our Own CoF-RssroNrxNT.! ' ROXBURGH, April 24. I hear the directors of the Ladysmiih Company are considering a proposal to reconstruct the company with a capital of £4000. If the vendors agree to the proposal — and it will doubtless be to their interest as well as in the interests of contributing shareholders to do so, the proposal will likely t>e submitted at the annual meeting, which takes place shortly. The intention is to brirg in water at a higher level, a race being all but cut, and woik the claim by hydraulic sluicing The Teviot dredge his not yet bottomed on the Roxburgh Lead claim. The drift is pretty bad. Mr Gibson hns been appointed manager of the Golden Glen di-edge, and took charge on Tuesday. This drec^e i« feeling the want of an elevator in working her claim.
