Boss and Sons, at Mataura on March 12, where the office-bearers were spending a holiday together. During the Afternoon they were driven to Mr James Galf s beautiful homestead at Tuturau, where they were entertained at afternoon tea. Messrs Lumsden, Mitchell, Scandrett, Fleming, MTarlane, and Stead have occupied the mayoral chair of Invercargill and other important public positions. Mr Lumsden represented Invercargill in Parliament, and Mr Scandrett was, before being its mayor, for 20 years town clerk of Invercargill.
