Fat Cattle.—l 49 were yarded, but it was a "very inised entry. The snift!! fiupoly kept up l*te rates—namely Vs 6d to -229 6d per 1001b; eteers, £7 6s to £d 7s 6d and up to £10 7s 6d; I «Tctfa. good heifer*; £5 5s to £7 10s and up to ; £S 10s for extra good; cows, £5 to £7 2s 6d, and j up t6 £8 2s 6d for extra. : Fat Sheep.—6794,. were penned. Thr entry j was very mixed, mostly butchers' ewes. All ' classes were easier by Is per head. Iho best freezers brought 15s to 16s, and up to 17s iov extra prime; lighter, 14s to 14s lOd, unfinished wethers, 12s 6d to 13s 10d; best heavy-weight ckm, 14s to 15s 6d; good, 11s to 13s Cd; secondary, 8s to 10s 6d; inferior. Gs to "s Cd. Fat Lambs.—The entry totalled 2561, uiosiH.unfinished. The market all round vas ea«ier "by 9d to la per head; 1960 ware taken for export at 103 4d to 13s sd, averaging 15s 3d; US went to the butchers at 8s to 151s lOd, and a few extra to 14b 3d; 258 passed at 11s to 12s 9d. Store Sheep.—The yarding of store sheep totalled 8828, very mixed, and moatly rough ewes. Forward wethers brought 12s 2d to 13s 4d; others, 10s J.ld to lla lid; mixed ewes and wethers, 10s 3d to lla Id ; good young ewes, 10s to lls 3dt; medium, 9s 3d to 9s 6d; aged, 3s lOd • to 6s 6d; .boilers, 2s ad; lamb 3 (forward), 9s to lls 10d; others, 6s 6d to 8s 6d. Pigs—Pigs numbered 553. Baconers -were verjTniixed, mostly half fats from stubble la-r.d. All classes, except prime, were easier, and uk- ' finished were little sought after. Fair baconers brought 35s to 47b, bu extra prime line of 25 62s 6d; unfinished, 2Ss to 335, equalling about Sid to 3jd per lb; poikers were eaeier at 24s to 30s, or 3Jd; stores, 10s to 20s 6d, suckers, -Is t« Bs.
