LONDON, March 18. At the wool «-ales there was a good selection, keen competition, and an upw?rd tendency. The Elder«lie clip sold at lSjju. iiarch 19. (Received March 20, at 11.15 p.m.) At the wool s-ales there was a brisk sale, buyers keenly competing. Prices are unchangeu. March 20. At the wool sales the Tctnra clip sold at s|d, the Acton at Md, and the Moeraki at s|d. At the Bradford wool market common 60's realised 20§d, super 21d. The London sales are firm with brisk competition for all classes. me Brancepeth clip sold at tid. Messrs Da'g-ety and Co. CLimited) reoont having received the following cable from their head office, dated London:—"The date of commencement of the third series of wool sales in London is postponed to. May 6 instead of April 29 as was previously fixed. Wool sales continue firm and active, with brisk competition."
