OBITUARY.
Thers died at the Cronvvell Ho.-pltul on Tuesday last another membei of the gold fields pioneers, in tho pereon of Mr Ai-c'."v Dunn. The deceased car.-ied on bi:i;i«ei3 for many years as a new- and coinznls-ion agent in Clyde. Of late year*, he lias been living at Luggate.
Mr George Moore, aged 58 years a colonist of 40 years' standing, formerly of Otago. died at Gisborne on the 12th. Death ha« been busy at River«da!e lately (writes the correspondent of the Mataura Ensign), the latest removal being Mr Alex. M'Kay, at the comparatively early ago of 50 years. Mr M'Kay had been associated ■with 'he district for a considerable number of years as a blacksmith, and laterly as a farmer, and by his quiet, genial, and unassuming manner he gained for hiniFelf the esteem of a wide- circle of friends. Decea?ed, who had been ailing for some time, was a widower, and has left a family, for whom great sympathy is expressed.
