Fat Cattle.— l6B yarded, mostly good sorts. Good demand at 20s to 25s per 1001b. Good bullocks, £14; prime steers, £9 to £11 10s; others, £6 10s to £8 10s; heifers, £5 15s to £8 15s ; cows, £5 10s to £8 10s. Store Cattle.— Good sale. Two and a-half-year steers, £5 9s ; two-year heifers, £3 10s . diy cows, £1 10s to £4 ss. Fat Sheep.— About 6000 yarded, including good lines. Wethers: Bnsk demand for freezers, with a drop of Is to Is 6d per head. Few heavy wethers, butchers', 20s to 225 ; others, 16s 6d to 19s. Ewes sold irregularly, and showed a decline of Is to 2s 6d, there being an over-supply. A few extra prime brought 17s to 19s 6d; good, 15s to 16s 6d; others, lls to 14s. Fat Lambs.— COO yarded. Weak demand, and prices easier at 12s to 16s. Store Sheep.— 22oo yarded. All met with a, good demand. Wethers brought 15s 2d to 17s 6d for forward, and 13s lOd fox backward ; and good halfbred ewes, 18s; others, 12s 6d to 15s 6d ; hoggets, 12s lid to 13s 4d for good, and 9s Id to lls'for weak sorts. Pigs. — 400 penned. Porkers being in good supply, and baconers and stores short. Weak market for baconeis at 36s to 455, up to 53s 6d extra quality, 3id ; porkers, 22s to 31s, 3Jd to 3id; stores, 10s to 16s Id; small, 6s to Bs.
