>OTES BI PARALLELS. All the clubs connected with the Otago Gymnastic Association have been working hard at the dumb-bell exeici'es arranged for the ma&s display.

The Dunedin Club had a fair muster >n Tuesday night, when the members were put through the dumb-bell exercises. Two squads were afterwards 'put through the class exercises by E. Wilson and J. Gallaway. On Friday night twe squads were at work under Captain Matthews and E. Wilson. Good work was gone through, especially by the first squad, Captain Matthews putting the squad through some very good work on the horse and rings. After the class exercises the members were put through the dumb-bell exercises. The night's training finished up with a run to music supplied bj F C. Liggins, whose services have been missed by the members for the past few weak.-.

The High street Club had a very good muster on Monday night, when good work was gone through. The first squad w r ere all present, and were put through some good work, which the members executed iri good style. The club's concert was held on Thursday night and pioved a great success. The three items given by the chib seemed to be appreciated by the audience, and the members gave a -very tieditable peifoimnme, though ore oi tnn of the performer.- -cemed a trifle nervou a . Tlie two items, given by the Ladies' Club were executed in a very creditable manner, avid Miss Mow at deserves every credit for the way she has trained this squad.
