SALE OF HIDES
Messrs Matheson, Pram, and Co. held their usual fortnightly sale of hides on the 21st. There was a fair attendance of the trade, and bidding was brisk, and prices showed little or no change on those luling at our last auction. The prices realised are as follows: — Ox hides irom 3|d to 4§d; cow do, 3§d to 3|d, calfskins, to 8d ; horse hides, to 4s 3d.
