ALLAN MACDOUGALL FUND.

A donation of £7 8s has bepn icceived by u= from -Miller's towards the Allan M'Dougall fund. Acknowledgment of £1 from '"A Few Friends,' Talutika, on the 11th inst. was o\erluoked at t !i e time. '"A. W." spnds 2.- 6d for the A'lau M'Dougall fund.

An enjoyable social was held in Millgt's Flafc Hall m aid of the Allan M'Dougall fund, when, the sum of £7 Sa was raised, which speak? well for the kindly feelmg of the people in Miller"? Flat. During the evening songs were sung by Messrs James Wathew and Wilson , " Misa Stieie Clements" also sang very prettily. Ihe committee have to thank all those who helped to make the social a success Messrs Merry and M'llae supplied splendid dance music. Mr AVasserbrenner acted as secretary.
