Five hbilhngs and ninepence per pair for fowls was the lowest tender leceived by the Wellington Hospital Trustees on Ihe 26th inst , v hen the annual tenders for supplies were opened. Members of the board unanimously decided that such ii figure was monstrous and in place of accepting the tender decided to open a fowl run ot their own. The twenty-eighth anniial report of the Wellington Sunday School Union states that the steady falling; off in the attendance of scholars, which is engaging attention in Great Britain, applies also to Wellington.
