WELLINGTON, December 4. The Agent-general advises the Agricultural department as follows : — " Butter, 110s ; in good demand. Cheese, 555; market firm. The hemp market is steady; stocks on hand light. Good, fair Wellington hemp, on spot, £24; fair current Manila, on spot, £32."
