THE LABOUR MARKET.

Skene and Son report under date November 27 : — We ' are fairly into the big huny of the wool -season. All we now want is fine shearing weather, and appearances are favourable. Orders are coming in fast foi musterers, shepherds, couples, cooks, rollers and pressers, etc., etc.. Ploughmen are principally needed for drilling. There is a big rush for dairy hands. " Gardeners, grooms, engine drivers, and flax hands are always needed. This being the great Show Week, mostly all farmers and workers will visit Dunedin, combining business with pleasure. Wages all round are liberal, and good hands are easily placed.
