BANNOCKBURN CREEK DREDGING COMPANY.
The first annual general meeting of shareholders in the Bannockbum Creek Di edging Company was held at the Agricultural Hall yesterday afternoon, there being a small attendance of shareholders, and Mr W. T. Talboys, chaiiman of directors, presiding. The Chairman, in moving the adoption of the report (already published) and balance sheet, which showed unpaid calls amounting to £742 2s, said that satisfactory progress was being made with the work of constructing the dredge. It had been foxuid that more money was required than was provided for by the capital of the company, but as financial arrangements had been come to, it would not be- necessary to make any call upon shareholders.
Mr T. Glendining seconded the adoption of the report and balance sheet, and the" motion was carried unanimously.
Messrs W. T. Talboys and T. Glendining were re-elected directors, and Mr J. Brown auditor.
