GRAIN AND PRODUCE REPORT.
Messrs A. Moritzson and Co. report having held their usual weekly sale of grain and produce on Monday morning, as follows: —
Oats. — There was a fair demand for good feed, but at a reduction of Jd per bushel on last week's quotations. We sold best feed, la 7d to Is 8d; medium and inferior, Is 3d to Is 6Jd per bushel (sacks extra).
Wheat. — All prime lines met with a ready] sale, but other descriptions had less attention. We quote : Prime velvet and Tuscan, 2s Gd ia 2s 8d; medium and inferior, 2s 2d to 2s sgd;j fowl feed, Is lid to 2s Id per bushel (sacks in, less 2\ per cent.).
Potatoes. — Fresh-picked Derwents are worth! 35s to 37s 6d; other descriptions sell from 25a, to 30s per ton. Chaff. — A fair demand for prime oaten frorm £2 7s 6d to £2 10s; medium and inferior wer^ hard to place at £1 15s to £2 5s per ton.
