WALLACETOWN STOCK SALES.

INVERCARGILL, October 9.

At the Wallacetown stock sales to-day there? was an average yarding of both sheep andi cattle. Fat sheep, with the exception of a couple of very prime pens at 213 and 225, were a little back on sales a fortnight ago. Prime, heavy-weight bullocks brought £10 5s to £9 5s ;j fat cows up to £9. The beef offering was chiefly, heifers, which ranged from £6 15s do-wn to £5 12s 6d. Store cattle were not in. quite sucbl good demaad.
