The notes in circulation total £30,118,000 ; public deposits, £9,767,000 ; other deposits, £39,862,000 ; Government securities, £20,419,000; other securities, £28,155,000. The three months' bills are discounted at 4£ per cent. Consols are quoted at £97 15s.
