OBITUARY.

Mrs A. Smaill, who died at her residence^ May-field, Inchclulba, on Iho 13th inst., was one of the oldest residents in the district. She, with her husband, the late All Andrew Smaill, and young family, arrived at the Otago Heads on January 8, 1858, by the ship Strathall an from Leith. They settled on Inchclutha, where they resided until their deaths. That she won the esteem and respect of all who knew her was evinced by the large ond representative gathering which attended her funeral. Sho leaves one daughter and six son?, one of whom is a missionary in Epi, New Hebrides.
