DEATH OF A SOUTHLAND TROOPER. AUCKLAND, April 30.

The Premier has received a cablegram from Sir A. Milner reporting that Private G. Anderson, of the New Zealand Mounted Infantry, died of enteric fever at Bloemfontein on April 26. Deceased was a son of Mr William Anderson, of Otatara, Southland.
