MASTERTON SHOW. MASTERTON, February 21

Heavy rain fell this afternoon, spoiling the people's enjoyment of the A. ancl P. Association's show. The exhibits are chiefly from the Wairarapa district, Palmerston North being the outside place most

largely- represented. Mr L. J. - M'Master, with the roan Florist,- won the championship and gold medal for pure-bred shorthorn bulls. The other championships were allotted as follows : — Southdowns : Ram, J. Stuckey ; ewe, Messrs Williams and Beetham. Romneys : Ram and ewe, Messrs Gray Bros. Of pigs Mr G. N. Slack, of Palmerston North, was, a prominent exhibitor, .and secured six firsts. Au Revoir won the" championship in thoroughbred horses, and Zuzievai in draughts. Messrs Raynor Bros, won the championship for Lincoln ram, while Messrs Perry Bros, scored in ewes..
