LONDON, February 13. -The total quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United' Kingdom is 2.040,000 quarters, and for the Continent 840,000 quarters. Share Quotations: Bank of Australasia, £65; Bank of New South Wale a, £39; Union Bank, £32 10s; National Bank of New Zealand, £2 15s; Bank of New Zealand 4- per cent, guaranteed stock, £101; New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, £94. February 14. At the tallow sales 1125 casks were offered and 1100 were sold. Mutton: Fine realised 30s 3d; medium, 295. Beef: Fine, 29s 9d; medium, 28s 6d. * February 16. The Bank of England returns show the reserves to be £54,345,000; the stock of gold, coin, and bullion to be £34,000,000; proportion of reserve to liabilities*, 46.93. The notes in circulation total £28,198,000; public deposits, £14,037,000; other deposits, £37,667,000 ; Government securities, £18,043,000; other securities, £27,550,000.
