Skene ond Son report under date Febiuary 20:—Summer at last, with glorious harvest weather, and the farnieis are smiling and hope- , fui. The demand is now heavy for all suitable for the harvest field; stackers and binders , are in favour. "We can do with couples, shep- j herds, ploughmen, harvesters, cooks, grooms, I poisoners, trappers, flax hands, and any num.- j ~b%v oi dairy and farm boys and lads, paid no tradesman or labourer can grumble at the wages going.
