GORE STOCK SALES. (From Our Own Correspondent.)

GORE, November 28. Sheep. — About 1300 were yarded, but owing to vendors asking extreme prices the bulk of the entry was passed in, although sales -were afterwards made privately. Extra good hoggets brought 15s. One line of about 500 were passed in at 15s 9d, these being extra choice. A few pens of fat sheep sold at 15s to 15s Gd.

Cattle. — 150 head of cattlo were yarded, but little business was done, the bulk of the entry being practically for exhibition only. Wellbred Hereford steers brought £5 16s, ordinary mixed £1 10s, small £3 10s to £3 15s, and cows and young cattle sold at lato rates.
