GRAIN AND PRODUCE REPORT.
Messrs W. E. Reynolds and Co., Bond street, report for the week ending August 2, as follows: — Wheat.—There is nothing worthy of note to report, and we repeat quotations, viz.: Prime milling, 2s 6d to 2s 7d; good sound, 2s 4d to 28 sd; whole fowl feed, up to 2s. Oats are in much the same position this weak as last — viz.: Prime milling, Is 5d to Is 5Jd; prime feed, Is 4d to Is 4Jd; ordinary, Is 3d to Is 3Jd. j Barley is very dull of sale, and-no prime quality I offering. Ordinary we quote 23 3d to 2s 9d, ' and milling and feed Is 6d to 2s. Chaff.—There I is not so much forward; siill, any but prime, which is worth up to £2 12s Gd, is hard to clear. Potatoes continue a glut, and best price going is 273 6d. Seeds.—Ryegrass, if heavy and clean, is worth up to 3s 3d, and has good inquiry; but medium seed is in full supply. Cocksfoot and clovers are already having inquiry, and we look for a good demand with # the incoming spring.
