WINSLOW RACES.
The Winslow Races, postponed from Queen's Birthday, were held on the Ist insfc. There wai no totalisator, but the cash fielder was very active. The following are results: —
Maiden Race, of ssovs. Six furlongs. — The Cure, 8.7, 1 ; Cashier, 8.7, 2. Won easily. Publicans' Trot, of 7sovs. One mile and atalf. — J. E. Rotciv, 16sec behind scr, lj Umioba, 4sec, 2. Won easily.
Winslow Handicap, of lOsovs. One mile. — Gloaming, 9.12, 1; Perkinette, 9.7, 2; Lady Origlen, 9.2, 3. Won by two lengths. Time, lmin 53 2-Jssec.
Open Trot Handicap, of lOsovs. Two miles. — Dundee, 16sec, 1; Spinner, 21sec, 2; Toronto, 26sec, 3.
Pony Race, of 7sovs. Four furlongs. — Pauline-you-are-a-belle, 9.5, 1; Topsy, 11.5, 2; Phyllis, 8.9, 3. Won by a length. Ladies' Purse, of ssovs. Six furlongs. — Inchcape, 9.7, 1; Cashier, 9.7, 2. Won easily. Time, lmin.
Consolation Trot. — Umkoba 1, Toronto 2. "Won by a length. Several athletic event 3 were decided.
