GORE STOCK SALES. (From Our Own Coerespondent.)

GORE, May 2.

At the sales to-day 1450 sheep were yarded. Thera were plenty of buyers forward. The entry consisted mostly of old ewes, with an odd pen of lambs. There was a good demand. Old ewes brought from 5s to 8s ; good sort 3up to 10s; lambs, best, Ss Gd; medium, Gs to 7s. Sixty-five head cattle were entered. There was rather a poor demand. Fat heifers realised £3 353 to £4; bullocks up to £6; store cows, 20s to 30s ; yearlings from £1 to £1 10s.
