Happy Jack led over the first fence from Bombastic, with Domino and Eclipse the clodest of the others, and Tremolo handy. After Roinjr a while Cataract took command from HiiDVJy Jack and Eclipse, with Bombastic, Silverthorn, N.Z , Tremolo, and Domino not far away. Happy Jack regained tho lead and showed tho way to Evanston, who was attended by Cataract, while Eclipse, Domino, Bombastic, and Tremolo v/ere in the next lot, with Orb and Wirrawa bringing up tho rear. Beginning the last round, Happy Jack was light clear of the field, but something happened to him, and the lead was left to Evanston, with Tremolo, Domino, N.Z., and Bombastic the nearest of the others. The stone wall brought down Tremolo, and Domino ran to the front "oefore the last fence was reached, and getting over safely, won nicely by a couple of lengths.. There wa_B -a head between second and third. Bubble was next, the only others to finish being Silverthorn, Happy Jack, Wirrawa, Evanston, and Cataract. Time, 7nna 16sec. Dividend, £4 10s.
