With some misgivings, all the liqiior traffic organs agree to be delighted with the new act for imprisoning regular victims of the traffic at the expense of the ratepayer. An enormous burden will thus be soon imposed on the public, every penny of which ought to be, and will have to be, paid by the liquor traffic when equitable compensation is provided for.—Reformer.
