THE KAISER'S TOUR.
CONSTANTINOPLE, October 31. A brother of the Italian anarchist who organised the plot against the Emperor of Germany at Alexandria has been arrested at Jerusalem.
The Catholic Society of Jerusalem have presented the Emperor of Germany with a valuable painting representing the Virgin Mary sleeping.
November 1.
The Emperor of Germany visited Bethlehem, the Mount of Olives, and Gethsemane. He also attended the consecration of the Church of the Redeemer. Owing to European complications he curtails his tour.
November 2i
When the Emperor of Germany entered the Church of the Redeemer the choir sang "See the conquering hero comes." The Emperor delivered a long address on the benefits of Christianity. He hoped peace on earth would be maintained.
The Emperor renewed the ancestral oath to serve the Lord. He advocated the union of all branches of the Christian faith.
November 3.
The Emperor of Germany visited the tomb of David. He is the first Christian to visit the spot since the year 1100.
November 4.
Owing to the great heat the Emperor of Germany is curtailing his tour. He will visit Syra, an island in the JEgean Sea.
BERLIN, November I
The German Catholic press state that the gift of the picture of the Virgin's house to the Emperor is an imperishable memorial of his visit to Jerusalem.
