TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — The paragraph in Saturday's Daily Times with reference to Kaitangata's expe3ted boom is causing merriment to residents who are well acquainted with the individual who met "that chiel." The remarks of the proposed works are simply effusions from this interviewed brain-pan, as also are those remarks having reference to a dispute between the miners and their employers ; the work at the mine is going on uninterruptedly, and has done so for the past 12 years. — I am, etc., • One "Who Knows.
