The Cup, a mile and a-half, takes 4550v3 • the Prince of Wales Stakes, a mile and a-quaiter, 35sovs. There are » couple of trota each day, hurdle races ajre also catered for, ana -the bill-of-fare is altogether one that deserved, ana should command, liberal patronage. Mr Dowse is the handicapper. Mr D. Clark the starter, and Mr C. D. Moore tho judge. Nomi- ' nations for all the handicaps must be in the hands of Mr Jas. L. Wilson by 8 p.m. of the 10th C-ctobor. For tho former nominations are to be in tho hands of the secretary (Mr F. W. Inder) by November I, and acceptances by February 4; for the latter nominations by November 1; handicaps declared on November ti, first acceptance December 14, and second acceptance February 7.
