LIVER AND BACON.
Cut the liver into slices and clip them into flou.\ Fry the bacon slowly in a frying pan. Remove it, and fry the liver in the bacon fat. Plac3 the liver and bacon on a very hot dish. Dredge about half an ounce of flour in the pan, fry it brown, pour half a pint of boiling ■water or stock on it, stir, and boil for a minute or two; add salt and pepper; pour round the livei".
