GOLD IN NEW GUINEA,

Rich developments are reported from New Guinea. Four now gullies in the vicinity of the Gira River yielded payable nuggcty gold from Sdwt to soz. Twentj'-three men in another gully seven miles away obtained 1200oz in three months.
Locally satisfaction is expressed at the acceptance of the New Guinea Land Ordinance, as it is believed only a powerful combination can develop the resources of Ne»v Guinea*
