At the Gore fortnightly sale to-day there was rather a fuller entry of sheep than usual, caused no doubt by the shortness of feed. The bulk of the entry was, however, cleared at the following prices. — Crossbred hogget 3, 6s, 7s, 7s 6d, and 8s sd, half-fat wethers, 10s 6d to 11s 6d, and a good pen hardly prime up to 13s; fat ewos — light, 8s to 8s 9d ; good, to 10s; 4-tooth crossbred ewes, Its; full-mouthed do, Bs. Twenty-one head of cattle were entered, including several pens of fat bullocks, which sold i;s follows — Two extra prime at £7 17s Gd; 2 good at £6 15s; 3 at £5 17s 6d; 1 at £5 4s. Store Cattle wero very hard to sell. Dry cows, 30s to Ws , dah-j cows, £2 to £1.
