Melbourne, April 13. The Cabinet have decided to support the Commonwealth Bill. Mr Lyne addressad a large Federation meeting to-night. He declared against the Convention's bill, but said he was not prepared to lead an) opposition party to tha bill. He thought tbe question should be kept free of party poMtics. The town authorities of Bonn have established a curious tax. A projVctiDg window or balcony pays 50 marks (£2 10s) a year, and every additional balcony or projection over it 25 marks.
