HOUND THE WORLD.

(From Our Special Commissioner.) Rangoon, British Burmah, March 9, 189 S. Dear Pasquin,— We have been in Rmgoou for the past week, where Conjurer Carl Hertz and the cinematographe— " under the management of Edwin Geach; Harry Lyons, advance agent" — and party have been doing really magnificent business. Mr Geach had to again lengthen his season, as at Calcutta, and they play on here till Saturday next, the 12th inst., when they catch the steamer for Singapore (Straits Settlement), which is awfully near Australia, so we shall not be so far off after all. ~" The Jubilee Hall here is really a magnificent building, and as regards stage appointments, etc., is far and away superior to anything in Australasia, consequently the local people are quite proud of themselves and their hall iv particular. As far as I can judge at present, Carl Hertz will be in Hongkong all April, Shanghai and Japan in May, return to Hongkong in June, Java in July, and Colombo in August. Anything from "dear old Maoriland" up to the end of May Jseat to Q.P.Q,, Hongkong will

reach us safely. Address June and July despatchet to Colombo. Regards from everyone to "Pas'* quin," "P. Bompter," "Bis," " Geachiaua, 11 Cleopatra," and all kind inquirers. If yo« drop across friend Louis Jonnelohr, tell him to send along a photograph of that letter that never came. — Yours truly, JIBLET GULLIVAN, ES<J.
