Makch 19. — One of our oldest and most re-
apected neighbours died lately in Dvinedin Hospital, in the poison of the late Mr Samuel Mee. He was a quiet, kindly, tuia&siinimg man, always ready to adv'se or help his neighbours. He v/as for years a member of the school committee, which will miss tixa -very much. He leaves a wife sad seven children to raourn tliair 1033. They have ihe sympathy of the whole diasrict. Mr Robert Biirell, of Gore, died auddetily on Tuesday morning. On Sunday evening Borr>e tbief stole the toinl collection at the Gore Presbyterian Church, entering the vestry aud taking from £2 to £3 while the service was proceeding.
