I may (-ay that I found MiKelly one of the strongest players I have met by correspondence, and the match was one of the best I have played, being very interesting and a hard fight between us. The s.core was as follows — Lowe 3, Kelly 2, and 7 draws ; and we have just started another match of 14 games— every possible opening with Black-; White to reply as he thinks best.
