COURSING.

The annual meeting ot the National Couraing Club was held on Tuesday evening at Allan's Hotel. The attendance of members was very good, and Mr Myers occupied the chair. The balance sheet aud auaitors,' report being read were adopted. Though tbe Jabb season was a poor one, yet the affairs of the club had very much improved, great thank? being due to the Dunedin Jockey Club for the very geaeroud manner ia which they had afforded assistance in keeping up the sport. The election of officers for the emuiDg season resulted as foliowa : — President, Mr S. S. Myers ; vice-presidents — Messrs W. Wood, R. Allen, O. U. Wise, C. P. Huberts ; committee — Wles&is H. Lelh^by, J. A. M'Guiness, G. Black. J. Leslie, A. Owen, A. Curaoy, P. Mitcbfll, J. C Shocfc, F. J. Toftn&ei.d, A. R. Morrison. A yore of thanks was accorded to tha late committee, and also to Mr L. Rubtledge for the valuable assistance given by him as judge. It was decided that the Programcno Committee should meet early ne-xb week, and issue programmes ab once, so as to afford ample time for owners of greyhounds to train their favourites.
