The lawn tennis tcurn&ment' was continued to-day, when good progress was made.

Men's Championship Singles. — J. C Peiccck beat A. Peel, H. A. Parker beat Peacock, J." Hooper beat P. Marshall.

Lauies' Singles —Miss Bull beat Miss Nicholson, M.iss Gonie beat Miss Read.

D> cember 29. The finals in the lawn tennis tournament at Auckland to-day resulted as follows :—: —

Men's Singles.— J. R. Hooper beat H. A, Paiker.

Mb Doubles. — Parker and Gore beat J. Marshall and FUlier.

Ladies" Singles.— Miss Kennedy beat Miss Bull and Mibs Gorrie, and has to pay Miss Nunueley for tbe Championship.

Ladius 1 Doubles.— Mis* Nunneley and Miss M. Kennedy beat Miss Bull and Miss A Nicholson. Dtcember 30. The Tennis Championship Tournament was concluded to-day. Ab th\- annual meeting yesterday Mr J. P<vtton, of Wellington, was appointed pectetary. The next meeting was fixed for Duoedin. The following are the finals to-day :—: —

Ladies' Championship Singles —Miss Nunnelly beat Miss Kennady, C— 1, 6—o.6 — 0.

Men's Handicap Singles —J. Marshall (owes 40) beat F. M B Fisher (owes 30).

L\dies' Handicap Singles — Miss Nunnelly (owes 40) beat Mi&s E. Whittliw (receives 30).

Men's Handicap Doubi.-es.— Stydus and Garcia b?at Hooper and P. Marshall.

Ladies' Handicap Doubles.— Misses Brabant and Slowinan beat Mea-iames Newell and Gentles

Combine > Handicap Doubles — Miss Kennedy and VV. A. Sfcyehe (owe i-15) beat Miss Nunnelly atid F. Fibher (owe 30 J).
