The revenue collected at the Dunedin Custom House in the month that has just ended on goods entered for cons unption was £36,823 12s lid, and the beer duty amounted to £1992 17s lid. For the corresponding month of last year the totals were £34,550 0, 3il and £1800 18s 2d. The quarterly returns show that the revenue collec f ed on goods entered for consumption was £96,367 8s 3d and the b er duty £1769 3s 2ii for the three months just concluded, against £00,719 10s aud £1403 10s lOd for the corre-ponding quarter of last year. For the year just ended the revenue collected on goods ente ed for consumption was £353,911 11s lid, and the beer duty was £17,079 8s 2d. The revenue on goods entered for consumption in 1596 was £364,341 2s 4d, and the beer duty was £15,367 Is2d.
