South Australian 3£ per cent, stock, 110£; 3 do, 100.
Queensland 4 per cent, stock, 1124 ; 3£ do, 106*. New Zealand 4 per cent, stock, 116 ; 3£ do, 109£ ; 3 do, 101|. ' Tasmanian 3£ per cent, stock, 110. .. West Australian 3£ per cant. 107. The English wheat market is quiet, and inclined to weakness. The Continental ia changing a little for the worse, and the American tending downwards.
The American visible supp'y of wheat is 50,21-5,000 bushels.
Oalifornian No 1 is Belling at 37* 3-3, Russian cargoes 37s 6d, and London quotations hard Daluth 39a (id. Sugar quiet. Jiva 10a 9 1, German 9s l£d. No. \1 best Scotch pig iron (f.o.b. in Clyde) 45i l£d. The Bradford wool market is dull. .December 18.
The weekly "returns of the Bank of England, published' to T day, show the total reserve to be L21j520.000 (i ;and the proportion oJkreserve to liabilities 45 9i per cent. ' Babbits and hares are dnllpbut unchanged in price.
The hemp market Is steady. New Zealand is quoted al from LI 4 10s.
Batter is dull, and is quoted at from 98a to 100 d, a few samples touching 1024 to 1043. Danish is quoted at from 104$ to 110s. The mild weather is having a depressing effect on the market.
