Sib,— The remarks 'of "Borderer," fcakfjn from 4 Baily's Magazine and published in the Witness of November 11, seem to me most valuable, for there cannot be a doubt but that the artificial and unnatural way high' priced horses are pampered has an unnerving effect and is calculated to destroy the stamina, and conetitution cf . tHe horse. - The writer . supports his contention by facts most convincing, *ud we have only to look at our^colonisl-lfred horses to prove it, where ill-br,ed weeds do an -amount of work and undergo' treatment that would kill those pampered aristocrats in a week; and every sheep and cattlo breeder knows the benefit of change of ground and feed.
