London, September 16. News has been received that two Benin West African chiefs have been shot by the British authorities for murdering a missionary. A third chief who was implicated committed suicide after being sentenced to death. The trial of the King of Benin, whe, with a cumber of his chief*, socretly surrendered and acknowledged his submission t-o the British, is proceeding.
