Woke ! «ons of Kntland, wake 1 Rouse from your tlumbers I The foernan is at the gate, Heed not his nu tubers. Rear your broad standard high, Trampled on never ; March ! with the battle cry " England for ever I " Think what your fathers did— Ponder their story ; How their best blood waa shed Only for glory. Ye bave a nobler cause, God will befriend it ; Nature's and Honour's laws Bid ye defend it. Shall the fierce foe our land Ravage aud plunder ? Answer, thou warrior band, Hi? challenge with thunder !
