Mesin Thomas Paterson and Co., fruit and produce agenfca, ManHe street, report August 18 :— Fruit. — Market fairly eupplied this week. Oranges : SyJne3\ 5s to os. Lemons, 10a. Mandarins, 8a to 9s. Sevilles, 10s 6d to lls 6d. Passion fruit, 10b. Banana?, 2d to,2Jd. Pines, 53 6d to 7a tid per dozen (abort supply). Appleß : Imported Sc.Pni., 7s M to 10s ; S.T.P , 7s 6d to 9s ; S.P. and F.C., 9s to 10a. Tomatoes, sd. Peanuts, walnuts, cocoanuts, and other fruiterers' sundries in atock. Produce.— Eggs, more plentiful. Butter : Fresh, 7d to lOd ; salt butter is dull of sale, ranges from 6d to Bid. Bacon : Roll, GJd. Hams, 7d to Bd. Piff« (wanted) : Prime baconers, 4d. Honey, 46. to 4Jd. Beeswax, Is Id to Is 2d. Cheese. 4d to 4Jd. Potatoes £3 to .£3 10s. Onions, £10 to j£l2. Poultry has good demand. Wo receive any day for sale. Try "Montauk" for scaly or woolly blight.
