Piper (for whom Mr Calvert appeared) for a sptc'al claim in respect of blocks XI and XII, N<nthom, comprising 100 acres, was granted, subject to consent of Minister. The application of E. R. Smith for & machine Bito Otsgo Museum Reserve was grautcd, certificate to bear even date with grant of special claim to Simson and Piper. Robert Lee applied to con'troct a dam at Barewood, block VI, Nenlhorn. — No objection ; granted . The application cf Richard Cuddie for a licensed holding, block VII, Nenthoru, comprising 30 acres, was granted. James Francis Leary (for whom Mr W. C. MacGregor appeared) applied for a licoased holding O7er block VI, Br.rewood. — Granted. James M'Hattie (for whom Mr MaoGr^gor appeared) applied for a licensed holding ;n block VII, Barewood. — Grauted. Feter MarteUo (for wbom Mr MacGregor appeared) applied for a special claim of 100 acres on Museum Reserve. — Granted, subject; to survey and consent of Minister for Mines.
