Found Dead. — I have the melancholy satisfaction of stating that the body of Mrs Croasan, sen., who disappeared on the 13th January last, was found on :-un<'ay afternoon, the 1-lth iust., by Messrs A Gordon and W. Coulter The remains of the unfortunate lady were found a mile up the Teviot Cieek, between the race belonging to Loudeu and party and the old Roxburgh race. 1 'lie of the party discovered a boot en the previous day, an'l this incited them to further efforts. They certainly denerve credit for their exertions in the matter. The body was wedged in between two iv cks, the skull being Btriou-ly injured. It is hard to understand how the deceased could have climbed over the fhnning at her advanced age The remaiim were removod to the barn of Mr T. M'lntosh, Roxburgh Ea«t, wheie an inquest is being held to day (Monday).
