A cablegram has been received from London asking whether the directors of the Prince Charlie CWhangamata) will agree to the fol'owing proposal :— An option to be granted to the 3lst March next for the formation of a new company, with a capital of £175,000, and a working capital of £25,000 to be provided fthe present shareholders to receive 50 600 fully paid-up shares of £1. The proposal has been accepted. The directors of the Young New Zealand Gold JMining Company have received a cablegram tasking whether they would agreo to annlgaraate with an ariioining property (the Waitekauri United) on the -following terms :— Present shareholders to receive JEIOOO cash and £25,080 fully paid-up shares. The Young New Zealand Board accepted the offer, and cabled to London accordInformation have been received that a further sum of £5000 on account of the working capital of Maori Dream (Kuaotunu) will be forwarded at the beginning of the new year. The directors of the Cambria Golden Mining Company have concluded the disposal of that company's property to the Anglo-( l ontiuental Bold Syndic»te (Limited) for 7450 shares 'fully paid-up to in the Moanataiari Gold Mining Company, being at the rate of one share, in the Moanataiari to every six now held in Lhe Cambria. The shares willbe borne ontheM^anataiaricolonial Xegißter, and will be alloted as soou as the scrip arrives from London. Meantime instructions have been given to apply for protection for the fclaim pending the due transfer of the property.
