MAUNGATUA.
November, 30 — Mr J. Graham addressed the electots in M.mngatua Schoolbouse last Friday evening. Thet c was not a large attendance, as it did not seem to be generally known in the district that Mr Graham would speak that evening. As his address oovered much the snme ground as the one already reported in your columns, it 5s unnec-sbury to go into details, but at the close a vote of thanks to Mr Graham for his address was proposed and carried. Fancy Butter.— Although not present at the late A. and P. show, I had an opportunity, through the courts of the exhibitors, of viewing the exhibits of fancy butter for which first and second pnzeswere taken by the Mistes E. and A. Kempshell, of this district. The work, in my opinion, reflect** great credit on the exhibitor*, and it is satisfactory to know that our little district is able to come to the front in agricultural matters in some respects.
