Lrax., July 3.
I yell Creek Company.— The mine manager reports :—" The winze has been sunk a farther distance of Bft for the week, making the total distance 145 ft. The country continues veryfavourable, being a mixture of slate and quartz leaders, but so far no solid stone has been met with."
Lybm., July 4. The dredßoraaster of the Cocksparrow dredge reports :— " We have dredged 90 hours for the week. I will not clean out the tanks and boxes until Monday. From the mats 1 received 240z 17dwt of amalgam."
